I started IBGR in January 2020. It is the culmination of over a decade in the radio business - in front of the microphone and in the back office. My start in radio was creating the number one business talk show in Central Virginia - Richmond BizLive and after the station was sold we moved to WNTW. I just completed an assignment as General Manager at WNTW in Chester and the WLES in Bon Air Virginia. The owners hired me to return the stations to profitability by the end of 2019. We did, and that experience was preparation for this station; creating something that is needed but never successfully created before - Business Growth Radio.
One last note - the avatar title of Chief is a homage to the time spent as a Chief Petty Office in the USCG, a great time in my life and where I learned how to drive success. As for the photo, I grew in a family of ham operators and was destined for radio.
